What has happened so far in 1923?
Warning – full spoilers ahead for Yellowstone: 1923 so far.
Although the series is filled with family drama and tension, fans of Yellowstone do already know how things pan out for the Dutton family.
Of course, we know them to be the successful family of ranchers in the most recent seasons of the hit drama, so this prequel series only gives us an insight into the family members that came before them. Spoilers ahead...
1923 has so far included death, flash forwards, split narratives in Kenya, a lot of familial hostility and growing tensions in the farming community.
After the devastating death of eldest brother John Dutton Senior, the question of revenge has been prominent in many fans' minds. Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) and his new bride Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) have had a fitting homecoming and, thankfully, survived the capsizing of their boat.
But in this latest episode, another surprise death unfolds.
With Teonna's (Aminah Nieves) escape plan fully in motion and marshals on the hunt for her, in the sixth episode, we see one of them push her grandmother Issaxche in their search, but she hits her head and dies.
They come up with a story to cover up her death and elsewhere Teonna is given male clothes by Hank and prompted to adopt a male name, Joe. But will she be found?
We'll just have to wait and see how the series will further unfold and slot into the Yellowstone universe.
